This peppy track from Roy has been glued to everyone’s head owing to its foot-thumping composition by young music composer Amaal Mallik and amazing visuals featuring Jacqueline Fernandes, Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.. If you want to party through the night, might as well do it to this year’s quintessential party song by Arijit Singh and Aditi Singh Sharma.

DJ Waley Babu

The voice behind hits like ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ and ‘Selfie Le Le Re’, rapper Badshah (or Pratik Sisodia) released the single ‘DJ Wale Babu’ in July. The track considered as the ‘Party Anthem of the Year’, was directed by Gifty and has Aastha Gill on female vocals. The video amassed millions of likes, making it one of the most popular party tracks of the year.

Aaj Ki Party Meri Taraf Se

No year is complete without a rocking track from Mika. This Salman Khan song from the blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan, though essentially centered around the festival of Eid, has rocketed to the top of everybody’s playlist as their favorite party number. Gulaabo

It was the first song that was released from Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar and became an overnight sensation.  Sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani, Gulaabo is a vivacious number that has made its way to parties and even weddings. From Amit Trivedi’s foot-tapping beats to Anvita Dutt Guptan‘s quirky lyrics, the song has all the makings of a party track. You’re sure to break into a jig after listening to this one!

Gallan Goodiyaan

Punjabi songs have a spunk that make them the life of every party. The lively beats, high tempo and fun lyrics of these songs get people from all age groups grooving. This composition by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy from Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do has been crooned by various artists including Yashita Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Sukhwinder Singh and others. Matargashti

You know there’s a hit song in the making when maestros like A R Rahman, Irshad Kamil and Mohit Chauhan come together. ‘Matargashti’ from Tamasha is one such song that became a hit even before the movie released. Tung Tung Baje

Composer Sneha Khanwalkar recreated the magic of her popular number, ‘Tung Tung Baje’ from MTV for the Akshay Kumar-starrer Singh Is Blinng. And once again the number was a super-hit. With energetic vocals by Diljit Dosanjh and the Noora sisters, ‘Tung Tung’ is the undisputed party anthem that gets everyone on the dance floor. Full marks to Khanwalkar for this amazing track.

Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan

Here’s a song that has taken over playlists, weddings and parties. Sangeet performances are choreographed to this number, clubs are playing it and the nation is dancing to it. ‘Chittiyan Kalaiyaan’ the perky track from Roy is a unanimous favorite.  Composed by Meet Bros Anjjan and sung by Kanika Kapoor, who has become the party queen of sorts, this song can get you dancing like no other. Meet Bros Anjjan continue to wow us with their trendy compositions.

Banno Tera Swagger

Debut music composers Tanishk and Vayu gave us a track that spells ‘swag’. ‘Banno Tera Swagger’ combines Punjabi lines with a Rajasthani folk hook and what you get is a stunner of the song that gets any party going. Vayu’s spunky lyrics take it up a notch higher alongwith Swati Sharma’s vocals which are perfect for this rocking number. This is a party song that will stay on our minds for a long time.
