Call for Entries: International Children’s Film Festival
The 18th International Children’s Film Festival, India (ICFFI) is calling for entries and has extended its deadline for submissions to August 31, 2013.
The biennial festival organized by the Children’s Film Society India (CFSI), which is chaired by Amole Gupte, will be held from November 14 to 20, 2013 screening about 150 films from across the world.
The festival will have three Competition Sections: Competition International, Competition Asian Panorama and Competition Little Directors where films will compete for the Golden Elephant Trophies, accompanied by cash awards.
Competition Little Directors was introduced in 2011. This section will showcase films made by children (age 6 to 16) who are residents and citizens of India.
The festival will also screen specially curated Non-Competition Sections including Children’s World that will showcase the most acclaimed films from the last decade and country focus which will present the best of one country’s children’s films.
