Singapore and India based global Film and Media production, distribution company is all set to launch the FIRST LOOK of ‘Bhonsle’ starring Manoj Bajpayee, their latest feature, in final stages of post-production, directed by none another than Devashish Makhija who made waves with both, his multi award winning short film ‘Tandaav’ , as well as, his feature film ’Ajji’, World Premiere at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival 2017 amongst many others.

Bhonsle has been produced by Abhayanand Singh, Piiyush Singh, Saurabh Gupta, Shabana Raza, Sandiip Kapur (Promodome Motion Pictures) and Namita Lal (Nutzaboutme Productions). Abhayanand Singh and Piiyush Singh are the founders of Muvizz , a media-tech venture which offers an online streaming platform with content from all over the world. It also produces content for itself such as iconic shorts like “Kriti” and “Taandav” , as well as, for third parties including web series and feature films.

Morever, the company also organises the annual Singapore South Asian International Film Festival (Sg.Saiff) in Singapore that had it’s 1st edition in 2017 and witnessed the presence of some great names from our cinema like Manoj Bajpayee , Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Girish Kasravalli , Abhay Deol, Neha Sharma, Dulquer Salman and many other film makers. The festival had support from Indian High Commission Mr Javed Ashraf and Institute of South Asian Studies (NUS). It will be launching the first of its kind outside South Asia, an Indian Film Market segment at this year’s Sg.Saiff 2018 to be held from 28th September to 7th October in Singapore.

This is the third film by independent filmmaker Zaigham Imam whose previous films have witnessed great appreciation while showcasing socio-political subjects and human emotions.
