Akshay Kumar to feature in Sajid – Farhad’s debut film

Akshay Kumar is all set to star in the directorial debut of his successful writer friends, Sajid and Farhad. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani featuring Akshay in the lead.
The writer duo has delivered five Rs 100 crore films – Golmaal 3, Singham, Ready, Housefull 2 and Bol Bachchan in a very short span of time.
Commenting on the development, Taurani said, “Yes, we have signed Akshay to play the lead role in the film, while it has been written and will be directed by Sajid and Farhad. Both of them have proved themselves with five Rs 100 crore films. I’m very happy to sign them as directors. However, we have yet to finalize the female lead for the film. The film will be an all out entertainer, but currently it is too early to say much more.”
