After acquiring a degree in commerce, Rachana Parekh enrolled in journalism at Xavier’s Institute of Communication, Mumbai. And within no time the Gujju gal was reporting for a weekly suburban newspaper by Mid-Day. But the magic and masti of movies lured her to take up a job that required spending endless hours outside film studios, chasing the earthly celestial bodies and trying to demystify filmmaking with the moviemakers.
