Produced by Reliance Entertainment and Sunshine Pictures’ (owned by Vipul Shah), Commando –The War within is a high-octane, action-packed thriller. The film features Vidyut Jamwal who was applauded for his power packed performance in the 2011 starrer ‘Force’ and also won several awards for the same.  The film will also mark the debut of Miss India- 2009 Pooja Chopra who will be paired opposite Vidyut.

Set against the rugged terrains of the north, the story revolves around a trained Commando (Jamwal) and a young girl on the run (Chopra). Vidyut will be seen flaunting his mixed martial arts talent on screen that he’s been extensively training for since the age of 3. Hollywood’s ace action choreographer Franz Spilhaus, who has to his credit several films is designing the film’s action.

The film is being directed by Ad filmmaker-turned-director Dilip Ghosh. Commando is slated for a March 2013 release.
