The day 3 of the Khidkiyaan Theatre Festival organized by Mukesh Chhabra Casting Co. had a perfect start with a power packed performance by the music band, Troubadours

The band did a rendition of the beautiful poem ‘Banjaarey’ by noted Indian poet, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Both shows of Dheerendra Dwivedi’s play Old Munk based on Harold Pinter’s sexiest and cleverest play ‘Old Times’ went houseful. The play received a great response from the audience for its humour and energy of the characters.

Present at the event were Prof. Ram Gopal Bajaj (former director of NSD), Manoj Bajpai, Suniel Shetty and Mugdha Godse.

Mukesh Chhabra- “maara peeti chalu tha aaj bhi music chalu tha.. I am feeling really good that my favorite actor and closest friend Manoj Bajpai whom I have grown seeing in theatre…has come to our festival. Suniel Shetty who has supported me a lot in this plan is here, who has helped me a lot which people generally don’t. He is one of the most important men in my life.”

The first edition of the non-ticketed fest is being held at Sathaye College, Mumbai from January 13-17, 2016
