FandryIndependent filmmaker Nagraj Manjule’s debut film project Fandry is to finally get a theatrical release in India onFebruary 14 this year. Fandry will be released on approximately 125-150 screens in Maharashtra, Belgaum, Indore, Jabalpur, Goa and similar non-traditional markets.

In an interview, the film’s co-producer Vivek Kajaria said that Fandry has a love story with a difference and people would love to watch it on Valentine’s Day.

Nagraj Manjule’s Fandry is being released by Zee Entertainment.

The film won Jury Grand Prize at the Mumbai Film Festival and first FIPRESCI-India Film Critics Award for Best Indian Film in 2013 and since then it has also been screened at various international film festivals like BFI London Film Festival, Abu Dhabi Film Festival, International Children’s Film Festival of India (ICFFI) and International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
