Gippy Grewal has sung an exclusive song for the Viacom18MotionPictures film Dharam Sankat Mein. The song, titled “Do you Know Baby” which features Sophie Choudry has been released by Zee Music Company. The actor/singer also has a brief but important cameo in movie.

Gippy has previously been associated with other top-selling acts such as Yo! Yo! Honey Singh and Dr. Zeus. This song marks his return to Bollywood! Earlier, Dharam Sankat Mein had released the track Neelanand and is doing the rounds as a popular spoof song online and as ringtones on mobile phones.

The cast of Dharam Sankat Mein sees an amazing ensemble of three Filmfare and National award winning actors – Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah – in comic avatar. Speaking of the movie’s seemingly controversial topic (of a Hindu man who finds out about his adopted past involving a Muslim biological parenthood); director csaid, “I come from a mixed marriage where my wife is Hindu and I am Muslim. There are various cultural nuances which make such unison extremely special, and that’s what drew me to the subject of Dharam Sankat Mein.”

Speaking at the press conference for the teaser Viacom18Group CEO Ajith Andhare said, “Audiences always appreciate when a social message is given out in a funny manner. The filmmakers have succeeded in doing that with this film.”

Dharam Sankat Mein hits cinemas across India on April 10.
