The city will host a three-day Iranian film festival from Friday in which five out standing movies will be screened at the Suchitra Film Society, Bangalore.

According to festival coordinator B S Manohar, the films are ‘Gold and Copper’ (Friday, 7.15pm), directed by Humayun Asadiyan and ‘Here Without Me’ (Sat, 7.15pm), directed by Bahram Tavakoli. On Sunday, the films are ‘Beloved Sky’ (3pm), directed by Dariush Mehrjui; ‘Child and Angel’ (5pm) directed by Masud Naqqashzadeh and ‘Family Bond’ (7.15pm) directed by Nader Moghadas.
