The veteran film maker and the son of B R Chopra died today in Mumbai.

The director was well known for his film The Burning Train, Baaghban and the biggest TV series of its time on Indian television, The Mahabharata.

He recently produced Bhoothnath series starring Amitabh Bachhchan.

He is survived by his wife & 3 children.
