Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play lead in the biopic-End of Bandit Queen :2012 has been a good year for Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor has received critical acclaim for films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Kahaani and Talaash.
Nawazuddin is now all set to star in the biopic titled ‘End of Bandit Queen’ based on the life of Sher Singh Rana, prime accused in the murder of Phoolan Devi. The actor will be seen in the lead as Sher Singh and will start shooting for the film by March 2013. Sher Singh Rana is presently locked at Delhi’s Tihar Jail and Nawazuddin wishes to meet him personally to get a clear picture of his character.
‘End of Bandit Queen’ will be directed by renowned theater director Barry John.
