The 13th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) will open its Delegate Registration from December 25. The festival, which is organized by the Pune Film Foundation and the state government, will be held from January 8 to 15, 2015.

Other venues are City Pride Pune-Satara Road (two screens), Mangala multiplex Shivajinagar (two screens), Inox Camp (two screens), Big Cinema Pimpri Chinchwad (two screens), City Pride-R Deccan (one screen) and the main theater of the National Film Archive of India on the ILS Law College Road and Kothrud. Online registration has already started at www.piffindia.com. Delegates will have to pay Rs 700 while film club members, students and senior citizens (over 60 years of age) will be charged Rs 500.

The registration will be done at City Pride Kothrud and that in Pune-Satara Road, Mangala multiplex, Inox Camp and Big Cinema Pimpri Chinchwad during 11am to 6.30pm. Applicants should have completed 18 years of age on January 8, 2015.

A statement from the organizing committee said there will be no replacement for lost delegate cards and the cards will allow entry only at venues reserved for the film festival.

Members of film clubs will have to submit their membership cards, whereas students will have to carry their college ID cards and senior citizens will have to submit their age proof while registering for the fest, the statement said.

This year, the film festival will focus on the theme War against War as the year marks the 100th anniversary of World War I and also the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. The festival will screen films on these subjects as well as those on the cold war.
