Rasika Dugal in Sudhir Mishra’s short ‘Life Support’
After TVF’s web series, ‘Humorously Yours’, films like ‘Kshay’, ‘Qissa, ‘No Smoking’ and TV shows like ‘P.O.W.’ Rasika Dugal who was part of the recent short film, ‘Chutney’ will be seen in Sudhir Mishra’s next. The short film titled ‘Life Support’ will have Rasika play a young budding politician exposing a relative reality in today’s politics. The film is set to go public in the next two weeks.
Speaking about her experience on the film, Rasika said, “I play the role of a young ambitious politician. Very ambitious and very vulnerable. ‘Life Support’ is a take on current day politics. A story of three people caught in a game of power and conflicting ambitions. For me, working with Sudhir was great as I have always had a lot of respect for his body of work. Many of his films are on my list of favourites. Much like his other films, there is nothing conventional about the way he works. I enjoyed the challenge of that.”
Rasika has also been signed on for Zoya Akhtar’s segment of Bombay Talkie 2.
