It was recently reported that Richa Chadha has roped her efforts for the betterment of women who have been saved from human trafficking. The actress we hear has been spending time to put together her efforts for the cause and work towards the awareness of the cause. Not just that the actress has now we hear taken a step further and conceptualised and directed a short documentary on survivors of Human trafficking.

The documentary has been put together for a NGO called Purnata and Richa has made a documentary film on inspiring stories of survivors of women who have been saved from Human trafficking exploitation. The documentary will release digitally by the end of May. Speaking on this, Richa said, “I wanted to do something to put the message across so that the idea to get the stories of these women reach to as many as people as possible. The idea is not just to document this but also to have the video be a medium to have people come forth and support the cause if they may. Happy I could direct something for something that could possibly make  difference.”
