Richa Chadha is no stranger to being part of quality films. Her reputation to be a class act in front of the camera has earned her the opportunity to be part of some of the best film in the recent times. She now takes this further with being roped in to easy a prominent lead role in David Womark’s Indo-American production – Love Sonia. Womark who has produced Life of Pi and has been an Executive producer on films like The Hulk, G.I.Joe Rise of the Cobra is making a film that depicts the brutal realties of human trafficking across the globe. The film is being directed by Tabrez Noorani is set to go on floors in May.

The film will be shot in Mumbai followed by a schedule in Los Angeles. After having captured the European market with her impeccable role of Devi in Masaan after earning rave reviews at Cannes, seems like Richa is now moving towards west with this massive international production. Confirming the project, Richa said, “I am delighted that I can be a part of this project. I really believe in the content and I can say that this film is being made for the right reasons. I am honoured to be a part such a talented international team”.

The film also stars, Rajkumar Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, Freida Pinto.
