Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity announces jury presidents
The Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity has announced the five jury presidents who will helm the Branded Content & Entertainment, Direct and Promo & Activation, Media, PR and Film, Press, Outdoor, Radio and Integrated juries.
Tham Khai Meng, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy & Mather, will be the jury president of the Film, Press, Outdoor and Radio Jury as well as the Integrated Jury. During his 28-year career, Khai has explored every corner of the ad business, while building brands and agencies on four continents. “It’s a great honour to be invited to serve as jury president for the Film, Press, Outdoor, Radio, and Integrated categories at Spikes Asia. After five years away from Asia Pacific, and now with a different lens, I am thrilled with the prospect of curating the great work coming out from this vibrant part of the world,” Khai said.
Mike Cooper, Worldwide CEO of PHD, will head up the Media Jury, while Jose Miguel Sokoloff, President, Lowe Global Creative Council & Co Chairman and CCO, Lowe SSP3 Colombia, will preside over the Direct and Promo & Activation Jury. Lynne Anne Davis, President & Senior Partner, Fleishman Hillard Asia Pacific, will serve as president for the PR Jury and Anthony Freedman, Group CEO of Host, will lead the Branded Content & Entertainment Jury.
Terry Savage, Chairman of Lions Festivals, said, “This is a great line-up of jury presidents that pays homage to both local knowledge and international excellence…A good look at the history of these five presidents highlights that they are thought leaders and people of extraordinary talent and leadership skills, which Spikes and the region are privileged to have steering the juries in what is the most important awards event in the region.”
Building on 26 years of the illustrious Spikes Awards, the Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity is the result of a collaboration between the Lions Festivals, organisers of Cannes Lions, Dubai Lynx and Eurobest, and Haymarket, publishers of Campaign Asia Pacific. The festival provides the region’s growing creative and advertising industry with a platform to network and exchange ideas, bringing together some of the finest creative thinkers from across the region and around the world.
Spikes Asia is currently open for delegate registration and from 16 May 2013 will accept entries into the 16 awards categories. Further information can be found online at www.spikes.asia.
