The Coffin Maker starring Naseeruddin Shah and Randeep Hooda will premiere in Italy at the 13th River to River Florence Indian Film Festival. Screening of the film is scheduled for November 22, 2013 at the festival and then it will also visit Rome in a new highlight between November 29 and December 1, 2013.

The Coffin Maker will compete in the feature film section for the River to River Bitebay Audience Award.  The film has been directed by debutant Veena Bakshi.

Ratna Pathak Shah can be seen in the role of Naseeruddin Shah’s catholic wife Isabella in the film.

The Coffin Maker is set against the authentic and seductive spirit of a Goan Village. The film is an emotional tale about a coffin maker who learns about life from an unusual and mysterious source. With films like these Indian cinema is really breaking the conventional Bollywood tag of films that only featured stars and dancers.
