Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is breaking records at the box office and the rom-com collected a whopping 62.11 cr net in the opening weekend itself. The film is on its way to join the illustrious Rs 100 crore club.

The youthful entertainer is certainly the biggest opener for 2013 thus far by a mile. With its positive reviews and good word of mouth, the movie showed a very good jump in its business on Saturday and Sunday and has been received well by the critics and audiences alike.

In the sub-continent, the film opened in 3000 screens following heavy promotions worldwide with the cast visiting many countries to further the film’s reach. ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ will also be releasing in Israel and will be the first film to see a release there in a decade.

An extensive solo release backed by enhanced admission rates, has certainly accelerated the film’s collection.
