The 23rd Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 4, 2018 to October 13, 2018.

The 23rd Busan International Film Festival hosts a special program called ‘Cinema as a Response to the Nation’ to celebrate the centennial anniversary of Philippine cinema. The Busan International Film Festival will screen ten Philippine masterpieces from the Philippine cinema special program selections as well as exhibit many other additional events. We now expect audiences to feel more connected to this meaningful event.

A centennial anniversary exhibition of Philippine cinema will be held at a ‘Dome’ located in Dureraum Square during the festival period. The exhibition called ‘Sandaan: 100 Years of Philippine Cinema Exhibit’ will show many video materials and texts that show the hundred years of Philippine cinema in one place. Acclaimed film historian Nick De Ocampo and other curators will join and be a guide for audiences during the festival.
