15 films have now been selected for the Competition of the 66th Berlin Film Festival. Besides the six titles already announced, another nine films have been invited to the Competition. To date, the selection includes productions from the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, United Kingdom and the US.

The following films are to have their world or international premiere during the Berlinale 2016, and will compete for the Golden Bear and the Silver Bears.
