Gender wars take centre-stage in Vickrant Mahajan’s Challo Driver. Delhi and its culture of business becomes the backdrop. The result is a chatty comedy in which a woman challenges the century long dominance of men as drivers incarnate. Payback time strikes a deep note and the woman makes it even with men to come to her own. Quirky and total Dilli material, Challo Driver attempts to question prejudice while being ticklish and corrosive at one and the same time.
