After winning accolades all over the world, documentary Fire in the Blood by Dylan Mohan Gray is scheduled to release in India through PVR Director’s Rare in late September/early October 2013.

Released by the International film Circuit in Us,  the film will open in the US in September and will begin its theatrical run with screenings at the IFC Center in New York starting September 6 and Laemmle Music Hall in Los Angeles starting September 13th. The documentary is being released in the US by the International Film Circuit (IFC). The movie will soon be available on DVD in UK and Ireland as well.

The film recently won the 2013 DOXA Feature Documentary Award, the main prize at the DOXA Documentary Film Festival in Vancouver and the Justice Matters Award at the 27th Washington DC International Film Festival. It has been screened at Sheffield Doc Fest 2012 and Sundance Film Festival 2013 among others. The film tells the story of how in the late 1990s and early 2000s, western governments and pharmaceutical companies blocked low-cost antiretroviral drugs from reaching AIDS stricken Africa–causing 10 million or more unnecessary deaths–and the improbable group of people who decided to fight back.
