South-Actress Nikita, who was last seen in Karthi starer Alex Pandian, spent several months locked away while being a part of a popular reality show. The actress, who was a finalist on the show, did not go on a  likelysigning spree immediately afterwards, instead she chose to select her films carefully. And looks like the wait was all worth it.

“I have signed up for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Traffic, which will be directed by Rajesh Pillai, who made the original as well,” says Nikita, who will start shooting for her first Hindi film this week. “I have seen the original and think it is excellent. I am happy to make my debut in Bollywood with this film,” she adds.

In Sandalwood, meanwhile, the actress has signed up for a film called Poornime, in which she will be seen opposite Shreeki, with Arun Sagar playing the villain.

“The story is impressive and, hence, I was keen to be a part of it,” Nikita mentions.
