Four Indian Films In Race for 7th Asian Film Awards
7th Asian Film Awards have four Indian films nominated in different categories and leading the pack is Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur with four nominations i.e Best Film, Best Director, Best Production Designer and Best Cinematographer.
Other nominations has Nawazuddin Siddiqui, competing in Best Supporting Actor category, for his role in the film Talaash, Anand Gandhi for Best Screenwriter for his debut film Ship of Theseus and Pritam Chakraborty for Best Composer Award for his music in Barfi!
The judging panel is headed by Andy Lau, who is a noted actor of Hong Kong. A total of 30 films from nine countries will compete under 14 categories at the award function to be held on 18th March, 3013.
The annual event is organised by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society.
