13th MIFF for documentary, short and animation films to begin on Feb 3!
The 13th edition of Mumbai International Film festival (MIFF) for documentary, short and animation films will begin from February 3 next year in Mumbai, announced in an official statement.
Organized by Films Division, Government of India, and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the week-long film festival will be held at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA).
Mr. VS Kundu, Director General, Films Division and Director, MIFF in a statement said that 13th MIFF has been reoriented in partnership with the stakeholders, as it has a goodwill among independent documentary and short film makers.
In the festival, a veteran Indian documentary filmmaker will also be honoured with V Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the festival will pay tribute to the acclaimed documentary filmmaker late Peter Wintonick. He passed away on November 18, 2013.
