Vir Das who was in London for the screening of his upcoming film, 31st October, at the London Film Festival, decided to extend his trip to write his first ever film script.

Vir is very passionate about writing and usually locks himself when in writing mode and this time it’s not just an ordinary writing spree as he is writing his first film script.

“The script is a high concept comedy about an Indian family that dabbles in crime across generations. My company Weirdass Comedy will produce the film and I’m going to act in the same” said Das.

Das’ next film, 31st October, is directed by National Award-winner Shivaji Lotan Patil and also stars Soha Ali Khan.
