Barfi, Paan Singh Tomar go international
Post their success in India, Barfi and Paan Singh Tomar will now battle it out at prestigious International festivals. Undoubtedly two of this year’s most acclaimed films, they will now compete at the Oscars, BAFTA and Golden Globes across various categories.
Barfi has been chosen as India’s official entry to the Oscars and will compete against 70 movies from across the world in the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ category. It has also been nominated for a Golden Globe in the same category.
At the BAFTA, Paan Singh Tomar and Barfi will compete in several mainstream categories including best actor, best actress, best director and more.
