UMA DA CUNHA BOARDS “BASIL CONTENT” CORE TEAM

A highly respected and regarded programmer and curator, Da Cunha forms part of Basil Content’s core team members

It was announced that noted Indian film curator, programmer and journalist, Uma Da Cunha will form the core team of Basil Content Media PVT LTD.  

Aimed at being the country’s first ever sales and representation agency, Basil Content Media is led by National award winning Producer Vivek Kajaria along with former film marketing and festival consultants Sanjay Ram and Rajat Goswami.

Da Cunha’s partnership with the company marks a giant leap for the independent film community, with a dedicated outfit servicing the various needs of the community.  While Da Cunha will work with Basil Content, she will also independently continue her consultancy operations and the Film India Global publication.

A highly regarded name in the festival circuit and film industry, Da Cunha in the past has served as the Hon. Secretary for Anandam Film Society and initiation of Dristhi, the film society devoted to promoting new Indian cinema and has worked closely with leading international film festivals including TIFF, Busan, Locarno, IFFLa among numerous others.
