Entries are invited for the 6th International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala to be held in Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala from the 7th June to 11th June 2013. The festival, a unique venture in India is being organized by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy for the Dept of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Kerala as part of its endeavor to catalyze a vibrant documentary and short film movement.

 There will be a National Level competition for long documentaries, short documentaries, Animation and short fiction films produced in India between 1st May 2012 and 30th April 2013. The last date for entries is 30th April 2013.

The festival also has a non – competitive International section for films from all over the world in the categories Documentaries (long and short) ,short fiction, animation, music videos.

There will also be curated sections, discussions, workshops and Master classes held during the event.
