Anil Kapoor’s nephew Mohit Marwaha, who recently moved to Mumbai is  following the footsteps of his cousins Arjun and Sonam. Having started his career in acting with Strangers in the night, A short directed by Shakun Batra and Produced by Karan Johar, the actor has been signed for his first Hindi feature film.

Mohit who studied acting at Theatre School in New York has been signed by Akshay Kumar And Ashvini Yardi’s company Grazing Goat Pictures which earlier produced Oh My God!. The film is titled Fugly and is a story of two boys and a girl. The remaining star-cast of the film is still to be finalized.

Ashvini Yardi, confirmed signing Mohit and said, “We were very particular about the actor playing the lead role. We had auditioned many actors for the lead. We needed someone with a strong personality and a boyish charm. Mohit fits the requirements. He will be called Dev in the film.”

The film is set to go on floors this september.
