Amitabh Bachchan to produce Gujarati film
Swaroop Sampat and Manav Gohil
After producing Hindi films like Paa and a Marathi film like Vihir, Amitabh Bachchan’s AB Corp will now be producing a Gujarati film. The film titled ‘Saptapadii’ will feature Paresh Rawal’s wife Swaroop Sampat and Manav Gohil. The family drama will be directed by Niranjan Thade.
The crux of the story is what happens when a wife decides to help an orphaned child who is a victim of terror and the husband doesn’t want her to get involved Swaroop fit the bill of the lead character rather perfectly as she does a lot of social work in real life as well. The film is set to release on 1st February, and will apparently be releasing worldwide.
