Basil Content Media led by National Award-winning producer Vivek Kajaria announced that they would collaborate with the Busan International film festival on its new initiative, Platform Busan.

The highly recognized Busan International Film Festival in South Korea with its new initiative of ‘Platform Busan’, aims at offering filmmakers from Asia a networking and interaction platform. The four-day event will be held during the festival and will see noted industry professionals and filmmakers interact and address the participants from across the various Asian countries.

In tandem with the same, Basil Content Media will choose and sponsor 5 participants from India to attend this initiative.

Speaking about this Producer and Founder, Basil Content Media, Vivek Kajaria said, “Busan for me has been one of the most exciting festivals to meet and interact with a larger film community. This is yet another great initiative by the festival and we are happy to be able to collaborate with them to send 5 Indian filmmakers to attend this. Initiatives like these are crucial for the development of independent films and we are confident that the participants from India will only stand to gain from this. ”

The application is open to first time and second time filmmakers.

The Busan International Film Festival will commence on October 12 and conclude on October 21, 2017.
