Cinepolis 3D Film Festival in India
To explore and modernise 3D technology in India, International exhibitor, Cinepolis is airing the 3D Film Festival across all its theatre chains. The main aim is to provide vast 3D experiences to Indian audiences at cinema halls. The festival will include successful films like the The Hobbit, Big Hero, Guardians of the Galaxy, Gravity and Avengers: The Age of Ultron.
Devang Sampat, head – strategic initiatives, Cinepolis India, says that they wish to usher in an era of an even more enhanced 3D experience in India and introduce the cinema lovers in the country to a more superior way to enjoy 3D films in the future.
The multiplex chain, whose theatres provide RealD 3D technology has partnered with Northstar as its media partner and Yatra.com as associate partner for the festival. Edman Chan, vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific of RealD says they are proud to support third dimension, a showcase of extraordinary movie-making as well as movie experiences.
Being a three-week affair, the fourth edition of the festival started on August 28, 2015 and will continue till September 17, 2015.
