ActFest is the world’s first Actors Only festival, dedicated to actors. It is conceived and organised by CINTAA, India’s largest and oldest association working for Cine and TV Artistes, and the 48 Hour Film Project. ActFest will see 70 personalities from the world of Film,Television, Theatre, Web on one platform.
The schedule of day one of the ActFest, 15th February, is given below –
10.00 am: ActFest inauguration by Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi.

10.30 am: An Improv (a form of spontaneous comedy) workshop by Ankita Challa – Managing Director, Improv Comedy Mumbai.
Venue: Open Stage Area, Outside Santokba Hall, Next to Mithibai College
10.45am: The magic of make-up is what gives actors the confidence to face camera. A demonstration by India’s foremost make-up and hair artists Bharat & Dorris.

10.45am: Dance workshop with choreographer Ahmed Khan.

1.15pm: Deepal Doshi introduces participants to the idea of movement in a actor. An insight into what movement really means extremely and internally and it’s relevance in finding truth in a character.

1.45pm: Opening ActFest Ceremony by Sara Ali Khan and Vijaya Mehta.

Followed by Johnny Lever and his daughter Jamie as they light up the stage with actor Vrajesh Hirjee in the session ‘Hasna mat Veerjee.’
