Vidyut Jamwal and Adah Sharma starrer ‘Commando 2’ that was to be released on January 6 2017 has now been pushed by two months due to the current issue of demonetisation. The film will now hit screens on March 3 2017. Coincidentally, the film is also about Vidyut’s journey to curb the black money problem, making the story more relatable and topical.

Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer of the film shared, “We have worked very hard on the film and we want it to have a good release. We think our film has a very strong content as it deals with black money and we feel that it’s not just a weekend film and hence we are moving the film to March”.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of demonetizing Rupees 500 and 1000 has shook one and all. Even Bollywood has not been spared and has let to several producers  pushing the release of their film ahead in order to ensure that their film doesn’t get affected because of the turbulent issue of demonetisation. Last week erotic thriller ‘Wajah Tum Ho’ also postponed its release date by a fortnight.
