David Dhawan got Diabetic-Coma attack

Veteran filmmaker David Dhawan suddenly fainted and had to hospitalize while he was partying along with his friends Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan. The party was hosted by a common friend, producer Bunty Walia in celebration of his wedding with Vanessa Parmar at a resto bar in Bandra in Mumbai.
People, who were present in the party, informed that Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan tried to revive him, but he did not respond. The two actors panicked and called for an ambulance, later which David was rushed to the nearest Lilavati Hospital. The carried-out tests revealed that the director’s blood sugar had dipped below the normal level and he went into a ‘diabetic coma’. Sources added, Doctors attending to him have declared him to be out of danger and his health and diet are being closely looked after.
The elder son Rohit Dhawan, who is also a filmmaker, is staying by his father’s side. His younger son Varun Dhawan is expected to return soon from Bangkok where he is shooting presently.
