With each passing year, Film Bazaar organized by NFDC has only grown bigger and better, providing an ever growing platform to filmmakers. Started in 2008, it is South Asia’s largest film market that encourages collaboration between South Asian and international film communities. Film Bazaar 2015 was yet another milestone with a participation of more than 1100 Delegates from over 38 countries. 

Noted Indian Director and Producer, Harry Sachdeva was one of the filmmakers who was at Film Bazaar 2015 to explore various distribution avenues for his upcoming film 31st October. The film written and produced by Sachdeva has been directed by Shivaji Lohan Patil. It is one of the first Hindi films that touches upon the aftermath of Indira Gandhi’s assassination on October 31, 1984.

We caught up with the filmmaker to learn more about his film, the making process, dealing with controversies and most importantly, his objective at the Bazaar.
