Finding Fanny which was previously supposed to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival weeks before its Indian Premiere has pulled out of its Canadian premiere at the festival. 

Toronto International Film Festival which was to start on September 4 was going to screen Finding Fanny but after the announcements of its premiere in India was made, the film won’t be screened at the festival anymore. The film which stars Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor alongside veterans like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia is directed by Cocktail maker Homi Adajania and will release all over the world on September 12.

Although Finding Fanny would not premiere at the film festival anymore, Priyanka Chopra starer Mary Kom, Directed  by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will grace the international film festival’s red carpet

Mary Kom is supposed to open the film festival on September 4.
