Vasan Bala’s Indian Theatrical Debut Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota that has already lit up the festival circuit ever since its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in the Midnight Madness section last year. Written & Directed by Vasan and Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies starring debutant Abhimanyu Dassani, Radhika Madan, Gulshan Devaiah, Mahesh Manjrekar and Jimit Trivedi. At TIFF  the film won the People’s Choice Award: Midnight Madness.

The film had it’s India premiere at the 2018 MAMI Film Festival where it received standing ovation.

The Meta ode to action cinema world-wide and bollywood films in the 80s and early 90s the film follows a young man (Dassani) who has a rare condition called Congenital insensitivity to pain and strikes out on a quest to vanquish his foes. Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani is making his acting debut with the film opposite the fresh break out star Radhika Madan (Patakha).

Those who have already seen the movie in various film festivals have given rave reviews to the film and showered it’s director and actors with immense praise.

The film is slated for it’s India theatrical release on 21st March.
