Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India brings you Fox Searchlight and Davis Geggenheim’s ‘He Named Me Malala’ on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 4.30 pm, Regal, Colaba. A compilation of real footage and interviews, this powerful film chronicles the journey of the youngest ever Noble Prize laureate and Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai.

This inspirational film documents true events of incidents leading up to the Talibans’ attack on the young Pakistani schoolgirl, Malala Yousafzai, for speaking out in support of educating girls. It also documents the aftermath and her speech to the United Nations. The film is releasing in theaters on 6th November across India.

The Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India will be held in Mumbai from October 29th to November 5th 2015.
