A monologue is one of the most challenging aspects of acting. It requires a tremendous amount of dedication and hardwork as one has to memorize an entire dialogue & deliver it correctly in one go. Suffices to say that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. One little mistake or a wrong expression and the entire effort goes down the drain and you have to do it again!

Kartik Aaryan has given fabulous performances in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 & 2 . The new chocolate boy has created a new benchmark for all the veterans in the industry. His five-minute long rant in Pyaar Ka Punchnama & about seven-minute long rant in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 made every single guy out there agree and applaud. Kartik has earned several accolades for his monologue and performance in both the films.

Shahid Kapoor in Haider delivers an grand monologue about the poor and corrupt administration. Shahid has performed with a lot of intensity and power, with Haider being one of his best performances of all times. He also used a new word ‘chutzpah’ which he talks about in the monologue.

Nawazuddin Sidiqui does everything with excellence. His role in New York is one of the most poignant performances of the film. He delivers a two-minute, heart-wrenching monologue about how he was tortured by the police for being a terror suspect.
