I Am Kalam is a Bollywood film directed by Nila Madhab Panda. The movie deals with the story of a child, Chhotu, an intelligent child and his hunger for education, something which he cannot aspire to have because of his family’s poverty-stricken status.. He is a great fan of former president of India, A P J Abdul Kalam. He is so inspired by Kalam that he starts referring himself as Kalam. The character of Chhotu has been performed by Harsh Mayar, a Delhi slum boy.
