The International Competition category consists of a number of brilliant films that compete for the grand prize at The International Film Festival of India. A woman of multiple talents, Theresa Ellis Rygiel has worked on films like Guardians of The Galaxy and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. A member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, visual effects are her main strength.

The director of the movie, Jayaraj as well as actor Kunal Kapoor attended the conference to answer questions from the press. Veeram is an Indian epic historical drama film; adapted from Shakespeare’s play Macbeth.
