The first conference of the day began with the Indian Panorama Feature Directors of Sultan, Ali Abbas Zafar and Natsamrat, Mahesh Manjrekar. Nana Patekar, who acted in Natsamrat appeared as well.

Press Conference – Mid-Fest Film, Tamara

The Mid-Fest film Tamara, is based on a male lawyer who secretly wishes to be a woman. The lead actors, as well as the director attended and answered questions from the press.

Press Conference – International Competition

The International Competition category consists of a number of brilliant films that compete for the grand prize at The International Film Festival of India. At the conference was Director of According to Her, Estelle Artus, Directors Baris Kaya & Soner Caner of Rauf, Director of House of Others, Rusudan Glurjidze and Director & Producer of I, Olga Hepnarova, Tomas Weinreb & Vojtech Fric.

A woman of multiple talents, Theresa Ellis Rygiel has worked on films like Guardians of The Galaxy and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. A member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, visual effects are her main strength.

Press Conference – Veeram (Macbeth)

The director of the movie, Jayaraj as well as actor Kunal Kapoor attended the conference to answer questions from the press. Veeram is an Indian epic historical drama film; adapted from Shakespeare’s play Macbeth.

Red Carpet – World Premiere

Two Birds, One Stone, also known as Our Mother was a Red Carpet event attended by the cast and crew of the movie. One of the festival’s World Premieres, the screening was held at Kala Academy.

Another world premiere that took place on the 5th day of the festival was of The Son of War (Being Awake). It was attended by the cast and crew.
