cmarouda_image002_1Submission deadline for the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) has been extended to January 20, 2014. All Indian films i.e. films by filmmakers of Indian descent as well as films by international filmmakers focusing on prevalent Indian issues are eligible to participate in this festival. Films can be either in English or any regional language but must have English subtitles. Also, they must have been completed in the year 2012 or later and must not have premiered in Los Angeles before.

The festival, to be held from April 8 – 13, 2014 will showcase films in three categories:  Shorts (Upto 40 minutes long), Documentaries (Non-fiction films of any length) and Features (Minimum 40 minutes in duration). The films will compete for the Audience Choice Awards and jury awards for Best Feature, Best Short and Best Documentary.

All film entries must be done via Withoutabox and fee payments made through Withoutabox will benefit a discount of US$5. For entries to be sent by post, 2 copies of the film should be sent on the given address. All filmmakers will be acknowledged via email by February 28, 2014. Fee details and address are mentioned below:
