Student film from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute will compete at Busan International Film Festival this year. The film competing at Busan, South Korea  is titled Infected made by the students of SRFTI. The film is a short film. Infected has a run time of 11 minutes approximately.

The film is directed by Fowzia Fathim and has been shortlisted in the Best Cinematography category of the festival. Adil Hussain and Shamaun Ahmed have acted in the film. “It’s a good opportunity for students to showcase their talent. I hope they win it.” said Shamaun.

Adil says, “I love these kind of films because the only thing they focus on is creativity. My character was challenging because I haven’t played anything like it before.” Shaantilal Mukherjee and Ushashie are also a part of the film. Venu Madhav who has shot this film is there at Busan and he is cheering for the film.
