Remo D’Souza is glad to be a part of the Hindi Film Industry at a time when good scripts work unlike the times when a star-studded cast did enough. He thinks that the audience has changed over time and a movie needs a strong script to hit it at box office. Remo made his directorial debut  FALTU with actors like Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Puja Gupta while his last movie, ABCD Any Body Can Dance featured talent discovered at Television Dance reality shows along with top-notch dancers of the industry viz. Prabhudheva and Ganesh Acharya.

Both his movies are youth-centric along with a bountiful of emotions and drama. While Faltu was a family drama, ABCD was about parents who didn’t allow children to pursue dance and the guru-shishya relationship.

The Director-Choreographer is currently seen as a judge on Colors’ dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Having choreographed for both reality shows and films, he says the two things are poles apart.

“For film, it is not only about choreographing, it is about overall look, technicality, cameras and what kind of light and clothes you want. On stage, it is a one-time performance. I think there is a lot of difference between the two,” he explained.
