We spoke about the story, references, casting, shooting the train sequence, the  use of the color red and more. The viewers were an enthusiastic bunch and the Q & A that followed brought back many memories and made the evening totally worth it.  Green tea for the soul. Thanks Humaramovie and I look forward to rewatching works by other filmmakers in the programme.”

Johnny Gaddaar is a neo-noir thriller film written and directed by Mr. Raghavan that marked the debut of Neil Nitin Mukesh. The film is about how a Police Officer recounts a tale of missing money which results in lies, deceit, betrayal, and death. Apart from Neil, the film brought together an ensemble cast that includes Dharmendra, Zakir Hussain, Rimi Sen, Vinay Pathak, Govind Namdeo, Dayanand Shetty and Ashwini Kalsekar.

Vinay Mishra, Co-founder of Humaramovie said, It was a great interaction with Sriram, a master of the thriller domain. A very engaging session where questions on script, form, acting, visuals, references were freely discussed. A great moviemaker made for a very engrossing Masterclass.

The first Masterclass that was organized by Humaramovie was held in January with director Imtiaz Ali post the screening of his super-hit romantic film Jab We Met.
