While only a few weeks back, Bollywood Blockbuster Queen‘s Director Vikas Bahl confirmed that Queen was going to be remade in Telugu and Tamil and that he is going to be creatively associated wit the remake versions, the latest is that the Kangana Ranaut starer film is also going to be remade in Kannada and Malayalam.

The remake rights of the film have been acquired by actor-director-producer Thyagarajan.
Reportedly, the actor was thoroughly impressed by the film’s story-line. He further added that the story-line lingered in his mind for a long time and he has decided to remake this film in all the four south Indian languages.

Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the producers of the original version, have confirmed this through an official press statement.

The names of Nayanthara, Trisha, Hansika, Parvathi Menon, Lakshmi Meon. Sruthi and Taapsee  are reportedly being considered to reprise Kangana Ranaut in the remake versions. We will have to wait for some time to know who is picked to play the eccentric character of Rani that was brilliantly played by Kangana Ranaut in the film, the character that the audience adored and appreciated so much .
