Kerala will play host to the All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) 2015 and Indywood Film Market (IFM) at Kochi from November 15 to 21. The event is all set for its launch and to provide a platform for budding artists/film makers and students to showcase and develop their talents.

All Lights India International Film Festival (ALIIFF) aims at providing a unique platform for global film industry to portray excellence in film making, aids to inspire, nurture and integrate the Indian Cinema industry thereby facilitating congregation of people and nations. The film festival provides a premier showcase for all aspects of filmmaking: the art, the filmmaker, talented directors and actors, and the film- lover in all of us. ALIIFF aims at educating the community & film festival attendees through the art and science of film, promoting cross-cultural awareness, the exchange of ideas, and social understanding.

The event is being organised by All Lights Film Services, India’s leading film services organisation, promoted by All Lights Film Magazine. Indywood Film Market comprises exhibitions, where buying and selling of international films, devices or services become flexible under a single roof, say the organisers. Also, the market will provide facilities for screening of films, viewing rooms, industry forums, panel discussion and screening conferences.

Submissions of films to ALIIFF have already begun and diverse categories of films are being looked at from around the globe until October 30 at www.aliiff.com . The entries that will be accepted include short films, documentaries as well as features.

The winners will be provided Golden Leaf Awards in the categories of feature film, director, people choice, Indywood film, 3D film, animated feature film, short film, documentary and debut director during the festival.

The festival will also showcase Cinema for Life and Cinema for Care.
